Finlay Management, Inc. Donates $10,000 Scholarship to Valencia College’s Residential Property Management Program

MIAMI – Finlay Management, Inc., a renowned multifamily property management firm headquartered in Miami, with offices in Tampa and Ponte Vedra Beach, donated $10,000 to Valencia College’s residential property management Associate of Science degree program located in Orlando, Florida.

Finlay Management’s Chief Operating Officer, Holly Costello, sits on Valencia College’s advisory board and provides oversight to the school’s property management program. “I have worked alongside other industry professionals to enrich Valencia College’s two-year property management degree program and know how great it is. I look forward to seeing this donation educate and prepare new leaders to enter the industry,” said Costello, a 25-year veteran of the multifamily property management industry.

Valencia College’s residential property management degree program is endorsed by prominent industry organizations including the National Apartment Association Education Institute, the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando and the Institute of Real Estate Management. “At Finlay Management, we believe it’s important to give back to our local communities and support the betterment of the property management industry,” Costello said.

Philanthropy and education are at the core of Finlay Management’s company culture. “Over the course of my 37 years in the real estate business, I have emphasized the importance of education. I’m happy to help students develop the techniques necessary to achieve a successful property management career,” said Chris Finlay, Chairman and CEO of Finlay Management.

Executives from Finlay Management’s leadership team attended this year’s Thanks For Giving Luncheon. The event was hosted by the AAGO on Nov. 10th in Orlando and celebrated scholarship fundraising for Valencia College’s property management degree program. Valencia College’s fundraising efforts amounted to $100,000 in scholarships from various property management firms throughout Florida. The scholarships will directly help students in the spring semester earn an A.S. degree in property management and prepare them to immediately begin a career in the property management sector.
